HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND TO SPONSOR A BILINGUAL PROGRAM TOWN HALL MEETING IN PHARR, TX. Meeting sponsored by TJMaxx
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund will hold a Town Hall Meeting to help the Latino community navigate through the complexities of preparing for college, paying for college and applying for scholarships. The meeting is free and open to the public. Meeting will be on, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 5:30 – 8:00pm. The meeting will be held at PSJA North HS 500 E. Nolana Loop Pharr, TX 78577. Congratulations to Ms. J. Garza's fourth grade class for raising the most funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, they collected $177.30. A total of $1,425.50 were collected by Farias Elementary students and staff. As a reward for their effort, this group of students will be treated to a meal from Olive Garden.
